✨ My Reading Journey: How Books Became My Superpower ✨

Last Updated: August 22nd, 2025By

When people ask me, “What’s your favorite hobby?” I don’t even have to think once—reading! For me, books are not just bundle of pages filled with words; they’re like doors to new worlds, friends who always make me laugh, and teachers who explain life in the most inspiring way.

🌟 Why I Chose Reading

Honestly, I didn’t choose reading—reading chose me. I remember holding my very first book and feeling like I had discovered a secret superpower that was build specially for me. While some kids find fun in video games, I found joy in fully getting into the magical world of a book, escaping into worlds that existed beyond my imagination. Books gave me what nothing else could: adventures, mysteries, and lessons without ever leaving my own cozy room.

And let’s be true—when you’re a reader, you’re never filled with boredom. Waiting for someone? Read a page. Feeling lonely? Talk to a character. Curious about what will have next? Turn the page. It’s like carrying an entire universe in just a book.

🚀 My Journey with Books

I started small and simple stories with big, childish, and colorful pictures. Slowly, I moved on to chapter books, and before I knew it, I was immersing myself in novels. Each stage of reading felt like unlocking a new world of curiosity and imagination.

Every book I read made me grow—not just in vocabulary or grammar but also as a person. Books taught me imagination, creativity, and courage. They whispered secrets of the world, introduced me to characters who felt like best friends, and inspired me to dream bigger.

Sometimes, I even imagine myself as a character in the stories. Like, what if I was standing next to Matilda, plotting a clever prank on Miss Trunchbull? Or what if I was hiking across the icy Arctic with April and Bear? That’s the beauty of books—they let you live a thousand lives without losing your own space.

✨ The Fun Side of Reading

Here’s a fun idea for you: imagine this blog as a book club. If you’re reading this, pause for a second and think—What was the very first book you ever read? Write it down or whisper it in your mind. Trust me, you’ll smile instantly. But don’t worry if you haven’t read till not. There is still time. Pick up your first book before it it too late.

Now another challenge: Next time you pick up a book, don’t just read the words—pretend you’re the director of that movie. How would you film that scene? What music would play in the background? Reading becomes 1000 times more fun when you interact with it like that.

🌈 My Future Plans with Reading

My journey with books is just getting started. In the future, I don’t just want to be a reader—I want to be a creator of my own magical worlds filled with creativity and imagination. One day, I’d love to write my own book, one that makes another kid feel the same magic I feel when I read. Maybe it would be a heart-touching novel with an unbreakable bond, or maybe about who is the killer. Who knows? But I know one thing for sure: reading will always be part of my life.

I also plan to build my own dream library—a cozy corner filled with shelves of books, fairy lights, and a soft chair where stories come alive. And for sure, it will not only be a shelf of books but a shelf that carries someone’s dreams, creativity, imagination and a lots of magic.

💭 Final Thought

Reading isn’t just a hobby for me—it’s a lifestyle, a superpower, and a best friend rolled into one. Whenever life feels confusing or when the times are blue, I just turn a page and suddenly, everything, my magical world, is back again. Books are my escape, my teacher, and my endless source of inspiration.

So if you’re reading this and you’re not a bookworm—instead you are that creative spirit that world needs to fill the life with colors of imagination and creativity  . Pick up a book today. You never know, your favorite world might be waiting right behind the next page.
